Projects + Passions
A selection of projects I’ve worked on and passions I pursue.
Board of Directors, UCLA Alumni Association
I serve on the Board of Directors for the UCLA Alumni Association. I focus my efforts primarily on issues related to governance, diversity, and the financial health of the alumni association. UCLA will celebrate its centennial in 2019, a proud moment for the school that I’m working to ensure brings pride to our over 500,000 alumni around the world.
Year-long MBA project I led to create a premium line of merino wool menswear. Designed a global supply chain that started with merino wool grown in New Zealand that was finished in Milan and sewn in Los Angeles. Sold product to NASA for astronaut apparel research within 6 months of launch and was reviewed by Franca Sozzani, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia.
Amazing Grocery List
I oversaw development and led design + branding for a mobile app that was selected as a Staff Pick in Google Play. Amazing Grocery List used inventory management algorithms to predict when users were running low on household items and would automatically build grocery lists for them.
Stanford GSB Lowkeynote
The Power of Storytelling in Business. A talk I presented on the how to effectively tell stories to engage customers and peers.
Building Innovative Brands
24 Hour Brand Sprint: Stanford Men’s Basketball. A one day challenge to redesign the Stanford Men’s Basketball brand around the theme “Nerd Reinvented.” Used archival footage to assemble a 60 second spot that connects classic moments in Stanford basketball history with today’s athletes.
